The History Of GOCOCO...

It all started when Swedish twin sister’s Annie and Linnea Wennergren wanted to combine their sporting career with business life.
As they had been raised in an entrepreneurial family within functional textiles, their step into the sock world was not far away.
With inspiration from Scandinavian design, knowledge of functional fabrics, and a crazy competitive instinct to market the best and most comfortable socks.
Gococo saw the light of day in 2010.

The Brand Name GOCOCO...
37.5 Technology is a unique material that minimises the risk of sweaty feet, blisters and chafing.

The material dries up to five times quicker than other similar materials, and also has a natural odour management feature.
Annie and Linnea are proud that the material has an entirely green technology without chemical treatments.

​They will also only use factories where conditions are favourably controlled for the workers.
Uniquely comes from the 37.5 Technology yarns used in the
​socks to keep the body warm at the ideal core temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius.
The technology is based on activated particles from coconut shells and volcanic sand, and when launched it was named COCONA.
So the twins made a combination of GO for movement and COCO after the technology as their brand name.

Everyone seems to pronounce GOCOCO differently, but that’s fine as it definitely is memorable.
